Meet Our Team

The organization is governed by a Board of Directors, which is elected at the Annual General Meeting. Directors serve on an honorary basis. To nominate to be a Director, one must meet the criteria of the Constitution. The Facility employs over 60 permanent and part time staff in areas of nursing, carers, administration, hospitality, maintenance and operations. Many volunteers assist in areas such as transport, chaplaincy, activity support, meals on wheels and gardening. The main fundraising arm of the organization is the Killarney Auxiliary. This group of volunteers meets regularly to organize money raising events and generate awareness of the financial needs of the organization. The Auxiliary funds are primarily used for medical and equipment upgrades.

Ownership of Killarney Aged Care – Become a member

The facility is owned by the membership of Killarney Aged Care.  Membership is $10 per year.  Members need to be nominated and seconded by two existing members. According to our Constitution, all profits are reinvested in the business.  There is no annual distribution.
